HUMANITY TECH LIMITED ("we", "us", "HumanityAi") operates the HumanityAi platform and related properties (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone, profile photo.
  • Payment data: transaction references, plan, amount and status. Card details are processed by Paystack and never stored by us.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, courses started, chat prompts, IP address, device and browser.
  • Communications: WhatsApp messages, support emails, feedback you send.
  • Uploads: resumes, IDs, books, marketplace photos you choose to upload.

2. How we use your data

  • Deliver courses, certificates, AI tutoring and job-matching services.
  • Process payments and issue invoices and receipts.
  • Send transactional messages (enrollment, certificates, password resets).
  • Improve our AI models, content quality and platform safety.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.

3. Legal bases

We rely on (a) your consent, (b) the contract you have with us, (c) our legitimate interests in operating a safe and useful platform, and (d) compliance with Nigerian law (NDPR) and applicable international data protection laws.

4. Sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the Service: Supabase (database and storage), Paystack (payments), Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API), Lovable AI Gateway (model routing) and email providers. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after deletion for legal and accounting reasons. Payment records are kept for the statutory period required by Nigerian tax law.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. Email us at privacy@humanityai.one and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, row-level security on all user data, and role-based access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; report vulnerabilities to security@humanityai.one.

8. Children

Kids Mode is designed for learners under 13 used under the supervision of a parent or teacher. We collect only the minimum data needed for the lesson.

9. Changes

We will post material changes on this page and notify active users by email.
